Now is Now Tokyo

Now is Now Tokyo is a compendium of work from the Tokyo street photography scene. It is a single volume featuring 18 photographers working in the vast Tokyo metropolis. The work aims to cover a variety of perspectives and approaches to photographing Tokyo’s people and streets.

Each photographer brings an authentic voice that shows us what resonates with them in the city, what drives their creativity, what motivates their eye. Despite coming from all walks of life, somehow, we have all been thrown together into this indescribable megalopolis that inspires all of us equally — Tokyo.

My first street photography book, Tokyo Unseen, was published in September 2023 by teNeues! The book contains a decade of images from the Tokyo metropolis, all taken with a deep love for the city and the stories and people therein.
